Welcome to Sigma Kappa!

Sigma Kappa was founded on the ideals of personal growth, friendship, service and loyalty. At Alpha Delta, we have been living these values since we colonized at UT in 1921! As sisters we do our best to help others and support UT, but more than anything, we love to have fun and spend time with each other. We strive to make the most of our collegiate experiences by excelling in scholarship, leadership, social activities and service to others by staying involved within the sorority and around UT.

The Alpha Delta chapter of Sigma Kappa is over 120 strong. We look forward to including more of the classiest ladies at UT to our chapter, while adding to the 120,000 sisters we have worldwide. This year, we received the prestigious 2 Star Standard of Excellence award at our national convention. We are proud of where we come from and look forward to what the future holds!

Sisterhood Event!

Thursday, September 17th, 2009 | Social

Our chapter is extremely close and we hold sisterhood as one of our top priorities. It’s no surprise that we are very excited about our upcoming Sisterhood Event on September 27th when we take a trip to the Zoo! The penguin is our local mascot so we’ll probably take lots of pictures with them! Keep checking our website to see more pictures of our how much our sisterhood means to us!

Working for a Cure at the UCLA Game

Saturday, September 12th, 2009 | Philanthropy

It’s finally football time in Tennessee! This Saturday before the UCLA game, our sisters will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association. We will be in groups wearing purple Sigma Kappa philanthropy shirts while we walk around and take donations for a fantastic cause. If you would like to donate, please come find us, we’ll be all over campus! We hope to see you at the game while we get excited for the Vols and raise money for a cure to end Alzheimer’s!
