Sigma Kappas display true Volunteer Spirit by being actively involved in other activities around campus. We participate in over 60 different UT organizations: from the equestrian and swim teams, to academic societies, Orientation Leaders and much more! Our members hold powerful roles in numerous clubs including the Student Government Association, Relay for Life Executive Council, Panhellenic Council, and All Campus Events committee. Sigma Kappas are also members of prestigious groups such as Student Alumni Associates, Mortar Board, Phi Eta Sigma, and honor colleges including College Scholars and Global Leadership Scholars.
We work hard, but we know how to have fun too! Every year we participate in Lip Sync, Intramural Sports, Greek Week, Homecoming events, and the classic All Campus Events– All Sing and Carnicus, where we sing, act, and dance our way into some sisterly bonding!

We not only excel as a chapter, but also as individuals. Mary Braddock received the highest honor at UT by being named a Torch Bearer. The title of “Torch Bearer” is given to six of the most outstanding students in all of UT’s graduating class. We are very proud to have Mary as our sister because she is a fantastic person and her accomplishments and selflessness to both our chapter and the University of Tennessee is unmatched.
